Audience Feedback on our Test Shoot

Today we showed our test shoot to our class and got their feedback on it.

                                                                     Our test shoot.

In the class we discussed the concept of a prototype and how we have to be willing and open to adapting our prototype depending on the feedback we receive.

It is important to get audience feedback from our class because their opinions offer a fresh perspective on our idea as they are a new set of eyes. Sometimes it is easy to become blind to any flaws or problems in your products, especially if you have spent a lot of time watching it during the editing process etc. Therefore their feedback and criticism was very welcome and helpful.

It was important for us to do a test shoot rather than just a storyboard because it is in the same media form as our final product will be and thus is more helpful than something static like a storyboard would have been.

I recorded my class's feedback and have uploaded the recording to Soundcloud - it is embedded below :

As well as making an audio recording I have taken the most important comments and compiled a table of each comment and how we are going to use that feedback to improve our media product.
